Schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-430p, No weekends, No holidays & No call! ****CHI Health requires that our Certified Medical Assistants / Medical Assistant must be a graduate** **of a medical assisting program accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) or Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education (CAAHEP)** **Why General Surgery?** + You'll be the bridge between patients and the surgical team, ensuring they understand the process and feel comfortable and supported. + You'll assist in various surgical procedures, from minor procedures to more complex surgeries, gaining a broad range of experience. + Overall, working in a general surgery clinic as a medical assistant can be a fulfilling and enriching career choice for those who are compassionate, detail-oriented, and enjoy a fast-paced, collaborative environment. **Qualifications** **Minimum Qualifications:** + Graduate of a medical assisting program accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) or Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education (CAAHEP) + Current/valid nationally recognized certification, registration or recognition for medical assistants (AAMA/CMA, RMA, NCMA) + Successfully completed Medication Aide 40-hour course or current/valid + Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association **Overview** From primary to specialty care, as well as walk-in and virtual services, CHI Health Clinic delivers more options and better access so you can spend time on what matters: being healthy.
