Position: Certified Medical Assistant - Rheumatology Location: Elmhurst, ILFull Time: 40 hoursHours: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM t- 4:30 PM (flexible), One late night until 7:00 PM. INCLDUES 1 Saturday a month, roughly 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM. Occasional Travel to cover call offs at Lombard location

What you will need:

High school diploma or GEDCertified, Registered, and Clinical Certified Medical Assistants highly preferredCandidates who are not certified or registered should have at least one year of clinical experience.Current CPR Certification issued by either American Heart Association or Red CrossA valid driver's license is required if the incumbent is selected to perform related duties at an off-site location. If the incumbent uses their personal vehicle, the incumbent must maintain automobile liability coverage as required by law and evidence of such coverage may be requested.Flexible to scheduling changes including overtime, evening and Saturday rotationBilingual Spanish preferred.  

General Summary: Under general supervision of clinic supervisor, and following established procedures and precedents, prepares patients for physical examination, obtains specimens, conducts select routine laboratory tests and records results, and performs phlebotomy, routine diagnostic tests. Under delegated supervision of a physician; performs clinical and administrative tasks.
