Certified Commercial Project Manager

Analyzes program activities such as acquisition cost, schedule and performance related to government contracts. May be referred to as an Acquisition Manager on some contracts.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential functions)
+ Shall be an experienced commercial project manager who will be the subject matter expert for all aspects of the Project Management Book of Knowledge (PMBOK) and incorporating it into science and technology efforts, capability development planning, rapid prototyping, rapid fielding and other acquisition programs or activities including those conducted with non-traditional contractors
+ Perform risk identification, planning and mitigation activities for capability development planning, rapid prototyping, rapid fielding; and other acquisition programs or activities.
+ Integrate multiple project schedules into an overall division, directorate, enterprise or program-wide IMS for use by the Government staff.
+ Review CDRL submissions and provide analysis including program status, funds status, risk concerns and submission quality.
+ Perform project initiation, planning, execution, controlling and closing tasks for division projects or programs as required.

Required SkillsRequired Experience
One of the following combinations of education/experience:
+ Bachelor's degree or higher in related field and 10 years of related experience -OR-
+ High school diploma and 18 years of related experience
Active PMP certification or equivalent
+ + Equivalency: High school diploma, associate's degree, or the global equivalent;
+ 7,500 hours leading and directing projects, and;
+ 35 hours of project management training that meets the requirements given at https://www.pmi.org/certifications/types/project-management-pmp
+ U.S. Citizenship required; Ability to obtain/maintain a Secret security clearance
