What You'll Do:
ARC Physical Therapy+ is seeking a strong enthusiastic Full Time Certified Athletic Trainer to join team. This position will be responsible for performing a wide range of clinical duties and some administrative duties to ensure effective and efficient support of the ARC Physical Therapy + Onsite services clients. This role will travel St Joseph, MO and Northern KC Metro area. The ideal candidate would be willing to travel the span of Ottawa, KS all the way to Maryville, MO. and then from Topeka, KS to Boonville, Missouri.
Provide onsite services including ergonomics, early intervention, job analysis, Post Offer Employment Testing (POET), drug testing, data entry, supply ordering, scheduling, reporting and other duties as assigned.Written, in person and phone communication with employers and other referral sources as neededResponsible for year-round marketing to individuals and/or organizations that can increase therapy referrals into the clinicsUnderstand the unique features, rules, and regulations, of the Workers Compensation system, OSHA, EEOC and ADAAA as they relate to patient care, working with uninjured employee population, working with employers, documentation, treatment and communication to ensure excellent outcomes for that patient population.Instructs, motivates, and assists clients to perform various physical activities, such as stretching programs and other activities designed for early intervention to prevent injuries.Completes all required documentation, charging and communication with all team members, internal and external, in a complete, efficient, and appropriate manner.Actively participate in community involvement, vending opportunities at conferences and engagement events/activities that align with ARC strategic initiativesPerform other duties as requiredWhat you need:
At least three years in the healthcare industry is preferredProven self-starter with the ability to work independently and problem sole as neededLicensed Certified Athletic TrainerAbility to stand for extended periods Ability to sit to drive for extended periodsTravel requirement of 75+% of weekly scheduleWorking Conditions:
Evening, night, early morning, and weekend work may be required to fit onsite schedules. The job is physically demanding. Onsite Services Clinicians are required to stand for long periods of time and drive for long periods of time. They spend considerable time stooping, kneeling, bending, and crouching. The Onsite Services Clinician may work outside, or in environments which may not be climate controlled. They may work in freezer or cooler areas and may work around machinery, along roadways, and/or around animals. They may also be exposed to chemicals. They also move heavy equipment. So, to guard against back injury, they must follow proper body mechanics and procedures for lifting/moving equipment.
