Are you someone who can:

Carry out daily maintenance of electrical circuits and systems within the building.Ensuring electrical equipment operates efficiently by carrying out servicing and fault finding.Identify, and escalate potential risks which may lead to failure and/or unforeseen downtime if not attended to in a timeously manner.Identify issues with systems that may lead to an increase in consumption and ultimately affect business units operationally.Manage contractors working onsite to ensure work is carried out in accordance with electrical standards, building standards and according to scope.Obtain quotations from various vendors which includes material and labour for work to be carried out.Ensure that client queries and technical queries are dealt with proactively and accurately, within the agreed turn-around times and that responses are of a high quality and be available for 24hrs standby for emergencies.Handle internal and external clients with a high degree of professionalism, tolerance, diplomacy and tact.Perform routine troubleshooting, inspection, maintenance, and repairs of equipment on premises.Provide input on all electrical works being carried out by external parties.Interpret blueprints, drawings, sketches and work orders to others.Provide an efficient administration service through careful and timeous planning, reporting and updating of all related information.Maintain various records related to labour, materials and work orders.Support of quality and compliance standards in business processes by regular inspections and documentation filed; No incidents recorded.Support all technical team members if and when required.Manage own development to increase own competencies.

You will be an ideal candidate if you:

Electrical trade test successfully completed.Basic electrical circuit knowledge, either having completed an electrical course from a Technikon or experience-based knowledge.Experience in building electrical systems +- 5years.Ideal candidate to have completed a diploma in electrical and in possession of an electrical trade certificate. To have knowledge on all buildings electrical systems, not excluding HVAC systems, fire systems, audio visual equipment.
