Ardagh Metal Packaging is looking for Central Material Planner.
Key responsibilities.
• Build material supply plans through supplier capacity allocation, while ensuring consistent and adequate supply of materials for production needs, aligned to the procurement strategy, supplier qualification and inventory targets.
• Analyze the supply plan quality and efficiency, identify supply risks and improvement opportunities, and support scenario planning, while ensuring timely escalation and follow up.
• Develop operational and tactical partnerships with material suppliers, including supplier performance monitoring, and monthly supplier forecasting process.
• Regularly review related Key performance indicators to trigger counter measures when off track.
• Manage inputs to material planning and call-off process with necessary master data, planning data checks, maintenance, cleansing within area of responsibility.
• Provide operational support in the areas of customs, tax, quality, logistics and 3rd party storage.
• Act as a Superuser for the material management systems & tools.
• Participate actively in continuous improvement activities and projects.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or similar.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar position, experience from FMCG being an advantage.
• Good understanding of modern supply chain terminology and theory (Planning, Logistics, Procurement).
• Proficiency in planning and ERPs systems, with advanced understanding of material planning in SAP ECC being an advantage.
• Good understanding of MS Office package, especially Excel. Experience with Business Objects, Power BI or Power Query as advantage.
• Strong planning, analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
• Advanced knowledge of English.
