Center Director

Learning Care Group (LCG), with over 1,100 locations, is expanding its brand, Pathways Learning Academy, into the state of Tennessee with a brand-new building and location, in partnership with NorthField Church in Gallatin, Tennessee.  Pathways Learning Academy at NorthField includes a unique learning environment for preschool children and their families. This includes Pathways industry leading interactive approach to S.T.E.A.M., combined with faith-based experiences delivered by NorthField, provide strong values, exploration, imagination, and confidence in children.   

 

The Center Director role for Pathways at NorthField is crucial in establishing the Pathways experience and culture in the Sumner County TN market. In this role, you will be responsible for hiring and building an outstanding staff/team that creates a fun culture to advance the growth of the children in a safe and effective operation. In support, LCG provides the Center Director with industry leading Healthy Habits programing for children, digital technology platforms for teachers and parents, unique health and safety features in this new building, and a unique partnership with NorthField Church

In our Center Director, we look for someone with proven leadership results in building teams and delivering an outstanding culture where a positive impact is made on the lives of preschool children and their families.  Also, proven results in effectively and efficiently running all school operations.  The Center Director role sets the tone in promoting social, physical, and intellectual growth in children by leading the staff in creating a unique warm, inspiring environment, while keeping parents informed and engaged. 

 

As a Center Director, you will: 

Be the KEY LEADER! You will hire and manage the school staff/team by leading an exciting Pathways culture, planning efficient work schedules, evaluating Staff performance development, and developing staff advancement and improvement plans. You will help implement Company-provided curriculums, including leading by example, coaching, strong communications, and interpreting standards with teachers. 

Be an EXPERT! You will ensure the school is operating in accordance with company and state licensing standards, while engaging and promoting a strong positive partnership with the community and NorthField Church 

Be an INNOVATOR! You will lead and spark innovation and try new approaches in this new to the market concept. You will spark imagination, build self-esteem with staff and children, and help children discover the magic of new things each day through an educational, creative, caring, and safe environment. 

Be a TEAM BUILDER! You will recruit, select, motivate, retain, and build a high-quality, fun-loving staff.  You will lead and enable the team to create a positive, enthusiastic, and creative culture that differentiates Pathways at NorthField from all other premium preschools in this marketplace. 

If you are a people-leader with a desire to shape a new entrepreneurial preschool concept, and lead an inspiring journey in early childhood education, with the support and opportunities afforded by an industry-leading preschool provider, here are the JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Must be at least 21 years of age. High School diploma or equivalent. CDA, associate, or bachelor’s degree preferred in Early Childhood Education or related field. Must meet state requirements for education and our center/school requirements. 1-2 years of supervisory/management experience; experience in early childhood education strongly preferred.
