ABOUT THE ROLE
You will be working closely with the Editor-in-Chief of best magazine on the print product, so the role will involve editing copy and coming up with cover ideas as well overseeing the celebrity team and the celebrity digital strategy. You'll also help to ensure best hits our high standards of quality and creativity. This will also involve covering Red Carpets, screenings and conducting interviews for print.
Key Responsibilities:
Ability to come up with cover ideas. Help oversee development, execution and delivery of best celebrity content in print, digital & in the newsletter. Oversee the celebrity teams uploading of multiple platform videos and news stories (including TikTok, Instagram and Facebook) at least three times a week. Collaborate on the new newsletter for best. Maintain and forge good relationships with PRs, agents and be responsibility for the entire team attending evening and out of hour events when necessary. Work closely with other department leads to identifying key growth opportunities. Work with the Pictures team for celebrity pages re budget and look of pages. Work with the production, art & digital team members to help grown and support our evolving social presence. Be an ambassador of Hearst UK and its values. You may be required to undertake such further duties as your skills, qualifications and experience allow and/or as may be assigned to you from time to time.
ABOUT YOU
A thorough knowledge of and passion for the brand and a love of celebrity, TV & entertainment is essential. Strong organizational skills are essential. Ability to adapt ideas to suit space and time restraints, talent needs and budgets essential. A proven track record of working on digital platforms & creating video content is desirable. Knowledge of censhare helpful Ability to keep a cool head under pressure, dealing with fast-paced situations. A working knowledge of budgeting and financial reporting.WHAT WE OFFER
