We currently have an exciting opportunity for a CDP Engineer to join our Tailored Technology team. This individual will be responsible for development and implementation of our Customer Data Platform, ensuring seamless integration with various data sources and enhancing data-driven decision-making capabilities across the organization. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams What you’ll do Responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing our Customer Data Platform (CDP) to ensure seamless data integration, processing, and analysis. Crucial in helping us understand customer behavior, preferences, and trends to drive personalized marketing strategies and improve overall customer engagement. Development Initiatives: Manage the design, creation, and implementation of the CDP, ensuring the data is accurate, complete, and secure. Integration: Ensure seamless integration of the CDP with various data sources, including CRM, marketing automation, and analytics tools. Team Collaboration: Partner with marketing, sales, analytics, and IT teams to comprehend data requirements and provide solutions that align with business objectives. Data Architecture: Develop scalable and efficient data architectures to support the organization's data strategy. Performance Enhancement: Regularly monitor and optimize the performance of the CDP. Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of the CDP architecture, processes, and procedures. Develop and maintain Snowflake ELT (Extract, Load, Transform) processes to integrate data from various sources into the CDP. Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency across all customer data sources. Implement and provide support to data governance and compliance protocols, including GDPR and CCPA. Monitor and troubleshoot the CDP to ensure optimal performance and resolve any issues promptly. Machine Learning Implementation: Create and deploy machine learning models for customer segmentation, personalization, and predictive analytics. Industry Awareness: Keep abreast of the latest trends, tools, and technologies in customer data platforms and data analytics. What you’ll bring 5+ years’ experience with specific CDP platforms like SimonData, HighTouch, Segment or Similar CDP Platforms. Relevant Experience: Demonstrated experience as a Developer or in a similar role within the retail or apparel industry. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, SQL, and JavaScript. Experience with cloud-based data storage like AWS & GCP. Experience of Snowflake Data Warehouse for setting up Data Pipelines. Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau & Micro Strategy. Experience in the apparel or retail industry. Knowledge of CRM systems and marketing automation tools like Salesforce. Experience with API integrations and web services along with data cleansing. Familiarity with agile development methodologies. Knowledge of Data Privacy and Security Standards like CCPA, CRPA & GDPR Strong understanding of database modeling and database technologies (SQL & NoSQL). Knowledge of machine learning and data analytics. Certification in relevant technologies or methodologies. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. The starting salary for this position is $92,800 – $142,300 and may increase to $170,000 depending on merit, length of service with the Company, and other factors. We take into consideration an individual’s skills, background, and experience in determining final salary. Base pay information is based on market location and may be subject to prevailing wage laws, if applicable. Work Environment, Physical & Mental Demands Ability to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time Ability to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist, and reach daily Able to lift and move up to 25 pounds occasionally Must utilize visual acuity, speech and hearing, hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer and office equipment Hours regularly 40 hours per week, as work dictates, near our Dublin, CA location.
