Your Role:

MilliporeSigma is looking for a Project Manager for their St. Louis, MO, CDMO (Contract Development Manufacturing Organization) site.  The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing complex projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within scope, within budget, and with quality.  This will involve coordinating resources, managing team dynamics, and overseeing project activities.

Responsibilities:

Lead complex projects (i.e. expansions, new products, operational excellence) with a strong sense of ownership and desire to deliver results within a cross-functional, fast-paced project environmentMonitor and control projects/programs to deliver desired scope on time, on budget, and in a quality wayPresent and facilitate productive meetings large and small with a clear understanding of the audience’s needs and necessary outcomesLeverage strong interpersonal skills to communicate and collaborate cross-functionally and influence without direct authorityIdentify and resolve critical issues and risks collaborating with key stakeholders to problem solve and make decisions while considering organizational impactCommunicate regularly and proactively with internal and external stakeholders as part of progress updatesMotivate, inspire, and promote a shared vision of successCreate and maintain project artifacts which includes Project Charter, Resource Matrix, Decisions, Tasks, Schedule, Budget, Dashboards, Change Control, Risks, Scorecards, and operational hand-off/process related documentationUnderstand how tactical plans lead to successful project outcomes that impact our customers and our strategic business goalsMentor and coach project management personnel within own group and greater organizationCapture lessons learned with each new project in the spirit of continuous improvement

 

Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in any field with 5+ years of Project Management experience

-OR-

High School Diploma or GED with 10+ years of Project Management experience

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, or other Life Science or Engineering field PMP CertificationSmartsheet ExperienceExperience in the GMP/Biotech/Pharma/Regulated IndustryExperience in detailed review work and following proceduresFamiliarity with FDA, EMA, and other regulatory standardsIndependent, self-starter with proven results in biopharmaceutical manufacturing operationsDemonstrated ability to work effectively cross-functionallyVery strong attention to detailExcellent oral and written communication skillsGood evaluation and analytic skills for problem identification and communication to othersKnowledge and experience in various computer skills, including Windows, Word for Windows, Excel, and Outlook, as well as familiarity working in a windows-based environment
