Job Description

Seeking 2-4 CDL Drivers with a Class A CDL. The role involves offloading products from tractor trailers, transportation to specified locations in laydown yards or on site. Candidates must be willing to assist general labor and spotters with lifting, digging, and moving products by hand. The ability to lift 50+ pounds when needed is essential.

Work Environment

The role involves working on various solar projects throughout Virginia. The mechanical contractor on these projects is responsible for moving materials on the jobsite. Work is conducted 5-6 days a week, with 10-hour days. Employees will work in all weather conditions and are expected to handle physical tasks.

This is a Permanent position based out of Elberon, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $66560.00/yr.

The role is based on the sPower's Cavalier Solar Project, a 3-month, 200MW project for AES. DCSS is the mechanical contractor on this project. Operators will be unloading and staging materials on the jobsite, working 5-6 days a week with 10-hour days. A per diem of $125/day is provided for days worked. The position requires working in all weather conditions.
