**Job Description:**
**Join Pitney Bowes as a CDL B Truck Driver, Team Lead III, 1st Shift in Pine Brook, New Jersey.**
**Your hourly pay will be $27.50 paid weekly with the possible opportunity for overtime.**
**Your work schedule will be Monday through Friday from 8:00AM to 4:00PM EST. You will need to be available on weekends for possible overtime opportunities.**

**What You Will Do:**
+ Have basic computer skills to build driving routes. Additional training will be available.
+ Inspect assigned vehicle per the Pitney Bowes pre-trip inspection guidelines and procedures daily. Report any defective findings to the Transportation Supervisor for repairs immediately.
+ Maintain a daily driver’s log or route sheet for mileage, stops and cargo, or utilization of TMW/ELD system.
+ Ensure the mail is reviewed for proper dates, presort slugs and a pickup slip is attached with each order prior to loading on the truck.
+ Ensure USPS equipment is used only for the movement of “Live” mail.
+ Return client damaged or undeliverable mail, following internal handling procedures for damaged secured mail.
+ Keep work area clean by ensuring mail bins are under machines or in APC’s, plastic straps are off floor to prevent tripping hazards, and sweeping the floors between assigned pickups or deliveries, and all other duties as assigned.
+ Demonstrate safety and security precautions and follows company policies.
**What You Bring:**
+ Must be minimum 21 years in age.
+ Ability to drive a CDL straight truck or equivalent.
+ Ability to read a map and understand directions.
+ Ability to understand and become knowledgeable with USPS regulations and managing standards.
+ **Valid state motor vehicle operator’s license in the state where the driver resides (CDL Class B) and meet applicable DOT requirements for CDL.**
+ Minimum of six months verifiable driving experience driving a Straight Truck with safe driving record
+ **Experience with electronic equipment and software, such as: GPS and ELD Systems (Samsara).**
+ **Candidates must have a basic enough understanding of English to be able to understand and follow safety and other operational directions communicated in English, irrespective of their native language.**
+ Ability to lift at least 50 lbs., walk, stand, stoop, and bend with or without accommodations.
+ **Must have the ability to work mandatory overtime that may include weekends, holidays and or a different shift with little or no advance notice.**
