CBAM Process & Reporting Manager – Sustainability Compliance (Customs & Project Management Knowledge) - Fixed term (1 year)

Make It Uniquely Yours.** We are currently seeking a CBAM Reporting Manager –specialized to Sustainability & Customs Compliance with Carbon emission experience as well as Customs & Project Management knowledge. This key role will be responsible for leading Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism and reporting obligations to EU commission to ensure the company comply with EU environmental policy and legal requirements as well as other relevant bodies. This role will be responsible for implementation of new reporting procedures, calculate emissions and harmonize and monitor brokerage services for CBAM relevant products and establish CBAM E2E process **How you will contribute** You will: + Oversee compliance with the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) in EU + Own EU Trade Portal access for CBAM + Harmonise import process and brokerage services for specified goods imported by plants (Steel, Iron, aluminum, fertilizers, chemicals) + Monitor and collect all relevant import declarations and data from suppliers + Support CBAM Authority with compliance through monitoring of import declarations and other customs data + Calculate CBAM emissions + Report CBAM emissions + Collaboration with Procurement to predict CBAM costs for our future imports (forecasting) + Register importers with National Authorities + Collaboration with Finance to establish financial/cross-charge accounting cost process + Collect CBAM certificates from CBAM authority for purchase + Implement reporting and other compliance obligation. + Building and mapping E2E new processes + Creating Business Requirement Document (BRD) describing the problems the project is aiming to solve and outlines the outcomes necessary to deliver value. + Defining and maintenance of SOP, user manuals, training materials and other documents as needed to enable successful implementation and turnover of the process or system to the business. + Monitoring project progress, completion, maintenance of post projects Go-live + Providing overview to internal stakeholders + Be key point of contact and represent company at EU commission in case of any audit + Cooperating and liaising with internal stakeholders, customs brokers, authorities and service providers **What you will bring** A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career and the following experience and knowledge: + Extensive Customs Compliance experience, preferably in a management role + Deep practical experience of European trade regulations + Experienced in operational international trade legal requirements + Demonstrated understanding of the importance of environmental policy and CBAM processes + Excellent all-round technical and communication skills, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, SAP and any other customs and trade solutions. + Project management experience + Excellent organizational ability believes in continues improvement and be results orientated. + Must have fluent English. + Being action oriented, proactive, and resourceful in solving problems + Highly organized + Strong communication skills (written and verbal) We pride ourselves on having a high performing and collaborative culture where we support your career and development. The final offer will depend on the skills and previous experience of the candidate. We also offer top attractive benefits.
