**Job Description:** The Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technician performs diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations and other related procedures. Inserts small catheters through a needle into the blood vessels and heart to allow x-ray, angiograms, and other recordings to be taken and determine heart structure and function. Schedules and observes time-management techniques according to departmental productivity and efficiency standards while observing a quality patient care experience. Adheres to the infection control and ALARA guidelines as related to the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory. **Requirements:** Complete an associate degree or certificate program in cardiovascular technology or a related field. Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification. **About Us:** Merit Health Central is a 319-bed health care facility offering a wide range of services provided in a safe, caring, environment.
