As Category Manager, Logistics, you will manage transportation and related logistics of goods and services to and from internal and/or external customers/suppliers. Expertise within a field comprising of different approaches, methodologies, techniques and processes.

As a Category Manager, Logistics you will be responsible for:

Developing and leading end-to-end logistics solutions to achieve required on-time pick up & delivery of goods.Managing Logistics Costs to meet budgets and Op Plans.Providing advice and guidance to functional management or business functions on approaches, projects and programs in the functional area or affecting business organization and ways of working.Handling communication with direct colleagues and the business about approach and methods for solving complex problemsLeading the design and implementation of projects. Work goals typically span 1-2 years to complete and the impact is felt over the 12 month – 2 years time horizonSupporting Warehouse transformation and integration within global Logistic Operation

To be successful as a Category Manager, Logistics you will:

Have a bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.Have 7+ years of experience in LogisticsHave specialized experience in the area/s of Air Freight, Warehousing, and Materials Management.Have change management experience, especially leading such an effort, along with implementations experience for either new software or processes.
