The Category Manager will lead IT procurement for hardware, software, and consulting, developing strategies, driving cost reductions, managing suppliers, and negotiating agreements. Key activities include strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, cost reduction, and performance management. The role involves coordinating global procurement strategies across North America, Europe, and South America for Volkswagen and TRATON brands. Emphasis will be on innovation, sustainability, process optimization, strategy alignment, and facilitating top management meetings
Responsibilities• Strategic Sourcing: Developing and implementing effective sourcing strategies to meet organizational goals.

Bachelor's degree
At least 2 years of supply chain, engineering or manufacturing experience
