The Supply Chain Category Implementation buyer (CI buyer) plays a pivotal role in optimizing the end-to-end supply chain process. Responsible for one or more commodity, they strategize, negotiate, and build relationships with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality. Analyzing market trends, they develop sourcing strategies and collaborate cross-functionally to meet business objectives. The Category Implementation buyer monitors supplier performance, implements process improvements, and mitigates risks. Through data-driven insights, they enhance efficiency and contribute to the overall success of the supply chain, demonstrating expertise in procurement, logistics, and fostering a resilient and responsive supply network. + Develop and execute supply base/commodity strategies + Interact and create strong relationship with cross functional teams to deliver common objectives (cost, timing, quality) + Lead negotiations to ensure best cost at sourcing as well as long term price sustainability + Deliver strong data analysis that leads to positive business decisions and robust tracking of price changes through life of the program/project + Lead sourcing processes to deliver best in class value, diverse supply base and strong business relationships with suppliers + Provide local supplier/country expertise for sourcing and may be delegated the lead for a local supplier negotiation by the regional lead + Project management and agile execution + Supplier risk management to deliver sourced projects and leveraging Supply Chain position to complete them on time + Communication and negotiation skills (for working with vendors and internal teams + High English proficient level + Project management understanding (since implementation often involves coordinating timelines and tasks) + Proficiency in procurement software (like SAP, Ariba, etc.) + Good understanding of contract terms and sourcing strategies **Requisition ID** : 45056
