Job Overview:

This position is responsible for performing medically prescribed radiographic and CT procedures. Utilizes computerized tomography (CT) scanners to produce cross-section images of patients internal organs and tissues for the diagnosis of medical issues. Accurately interpret a physicians scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, prepare and operate the CT scan equipment and position the patient to capture the appropriate images.

Minimum Qualifications:

Technical diploma from an AMA approved school of Radiology or Imaging Services. New York State licenseRegistered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in CT within 1 year of hire or transferBasic Life Support Certification (BLS)IV Contrast Certification within 1 year of hire or transfer

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $99,284 - $103,464 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
