Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Product Support Sales Representatives in the construction industry division to enhance customer relationships while focusing on growing parts and services revenue for aggregate, wood processing, paving and construction contractors utilizing Caterpillar engines in non-Caterpillar equipment and/or running Caterpillar prime power generatorsCollaborate with Ziegler’s OEM Sales Engineers to meet with Industrial Engine customers in order to better serve our distributors and end-user customers with parts programs and service solutionsSeek out and secure new industrial engine parts and service opportunitiesApply industry knowledge to offer technical advice and practical parts and service programs to both internal and external customersPrepare detailed TM maintenance and repair quotes following Ziegler’s best practices. When appropriate formulate multi-year Customer Value Agreements (CVA) to present and sell to customersUse Ziegler approved CRM to track all customer activity including phone calls and in-person visits. In addition, use CRM to track sales quotes including leads and sales opportunities that can be followed through the sales funnelCreate PowerPoint presentations, marketing cut-sheets and sales aides in conjunction with Ziegler’s Marketing department to enhance customer awarenessBuild and maintain strong customer relationships - conduct regular customer site visits and follow-up phone and email communication. Work with customers to find innovative solutions to their parts and service needs. Work on behalf of the customer and Ziegler to find equitable invoice resolution for Ziegler and the customerParticipate and join customer industry/trade organizations or associations to further enhance industry awareness and customer relationsQualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required; 2-year or 4-year degree desired4+ years of technical engine and/or generator experience is required2+ years of sales experience in a similar industry is desiredProficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPointExcellent communication skills – both written and verbalResults-oriented and self-starterMust have and maintain a clean driving recordPersonal Attributes: Achievement Orientation, Customer Focus, Problem Solving, Planning and Organization and TeamworkTravel:
Up to 40-50% travel
