Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cashier to join our hospital team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling financial transactions while providing a excellent and empathetic customer service experience to our patients and their families as well as our hospital employees.

Qualifications:

Required:

Successful completion of general and department specific orientationSome cashier or customer service experienceBasic math and money handling skills

Preferred:

Preferable Experience in hospitality, a hospital or healthcare settingBilingual or multilingual abilitiesProficiency in using Micros

Scheduling Requirements:

This is a part-time position 12p-8:30pm, 8:30am-5pm and 4:30pm-9:30pm The candidate must be available to work on weekdays and 3 out of 4 weekends as well as some holidays. Days of the week will vary.

Essential Functions:

Accurately process all cash and credit paymentsProvide excellent customer service to patients and their familiesMaintain a clean and tidy checkout areaHandle all questions and inquiries with professionalism and courtesyAssist in other areas as needed based on staffing and patient flow.Help maintain the cleanliness of the Dining Room when not busy at the registerHelp refill the condiment stationsHelp refill baverages, chips and snacks throuout the dinning room
