Summary About the position: This position will be assigned to the Landings Club on Dover Air Force Base. As a FLEX employee, you may work anywhere between 0-40 hours per week, on an as needed basis. Responsibilities Performs receiving and disbursing cashier duties. Ensures proper identification is presented before disbursement is made. Collects cash receipts, cash register tapes, checks, credit card receipts, club tokens, coupons, and other supporting documentation. Prepares and issues change funds as required. Collects and reconciles change funds at end of shift. Prepares bank deposits and ensures daily deposit in a timely manner. Ensures all monies are accounted for by balancing with the posting of funds placed in the activity's safe before actual bank deposit. Prepares cash reports and notifies supervisor of any suspected irregularities. Ensures the proper accounting for charge cards, sales slips, and guest checks and ensures they are included within the daily cashier's report. Tracks and reconciles event sheets thru final payment. Files final event sheets in accordance with Air Force guidance. Completes monthly Transfer Between Cost Center (TBCC) forms for payroll, SM & W, Member benefit functions, etc. Maintains Aloha Point of Sale system as administrator. Programs registers as needed utilizing Aloha manuals. Settles end of day credit (EDC) reports. Assists members with on-line membership issues to include payments, refunds, and cancellations. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Must have financial experience at a level above front line cashier work. Experience must include evidence of ability to perform basic accounting procedures to include making change, completing cashier reports, and receiving payments from customers. Must also have experience in the receipt, disbursement, examination, deposit, or other processing of cash items when this includes (1) direct handling of cash items, and (2) use of cash accountability control methods. Must have ability to communicate both orally and in writing. Must possess skill in dealing with the public. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI). Must be able to exert light physical effort in reaching, bending, turning, or moving hands, feet, and legs to operate hand and foot controls. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical. "This is a drug testing designated position. The incumbent is subject to random testing for drug use." Education This position does not have an education qualification requirement. Additional Information Individual must fully meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position. U.S. Citizens and Non-U.S. Nationals who have resided in the U.S. Territory for three (3) or more consecutive years immediately preceding the start of Federal Affiliation or a signed memorandum indicating the installation's decision on the 3-year residency requirement. Male applicants born after December 31, 1959 must be registered for Selective Service. Direct deposit is required. Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check. A probationary period may be required. Pre-employment requirements must be satisfactorily met prior to Entrance on Duty (EOD).
