The Opportunity
As a Cash & Securities Management Consultant in our Investment Operations organization, you are responsible for transaction processing and oversight over the lifecycle of invested assets and their portfolios for the Company. This includes assisting in onboarding new managers and investment types, relationship management, customer support, calculation of forecast and funds available investing, general ledger balancing, reporting, reconciliations, payment validations, and complex transaction processing.

The Impact:
The primary responsibility of the Investment Operations Consultant will be to provide Corporate Actions support to Investment management operations. This role will be accountable for processing and reconciliations related to Corporate Action events across multiple asset classes to ensure requirements are met and will be responsible for the escalation of any gaps, which may impact reconciliations. In addition, this role will partner with external service providers in understanding complex investment transactions while ensuring that we minimize operational risk and optimize operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Providing support across Investment Operations specific to Corporate Actions for international/domestic Income, Dividend, Paydowns, Voluntary and Mandatory events.Responsible for performing mandatory and voluntary corporate action-related custody and accounting processing, such as stock splits, rights issues, tender offers etc. Also responsible for managing reconciliation activities, internal reporting and proration on transactions.Responsible for researching and responding to inquiries from internal business groups, Investment Managers, and/or custodians.Works on multiple systems to perform complex corporate action processing, including reviewing announcements, reconciling Investment Manager instructions, and posting cash and security transactions.The Minimum Qualifications
5+ years working in the financial services sector in similar investment operations capacityThe Ideal Qualifications
Four-year Bachelor’s Degree preferredExperience in corporate actions preferredStrong financial markets product knowledge and understanding of the transaction lifecycle in Corporate ActionsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Power Point and Word), VBA and Visio experience a plusAbility to communicate across all levels of the organization, comfortable interacting with vendors, business partners, external managers investment management and technologyAbility to work across multiple priorities with limited guidanceAbility to independently explore solutions to a problem and adapt quickly to changesCollaboration skills and the ability to work in a team-based environment Knowledge of Eagle PACE or like Data Management Tool a plusKnowledge of Eagle STAR or like Investment Accounting platform a plusNatural curiosity, love of learning, calm under pressure in the face of multiple urgent priorities, relish the challenge of solving puzzles and intellectual challenges and be comfortable with the ambiguity presented by new situations. Salary Range: $99,800.00-$131,000.00
