Role Description

Working within the FNZ Investment Operations Function you will be responsible for the processing and settlement of all financial transactions made by FNZ’s clients. The team is also tasked with processing corporate distributions and dividends, reconciling client positions, and identifying and resolving fund issues. You will have the opportunity to work within different teams helping you to develop and gain all the skills and knowledge you need to progress in your career.

The Cash Payments & Settlements Officer is responsible for settling trades with external fund managers and FNZ (SA) Ltd’s clients. Ensuring that all funds are transferred to Client accounts in a timely manner.

Team Responsibilities:

To settle all trades, Sells rebates or distributions in an accurate and timely manner

Ensure that all debtor and creditor positions are chased and accurate.

Specific Role Responsibilities:

To settle all trades rebates or distributions in an accurate and timely mannerEnsure that all debtor and creditor positions are chased and accurate.Generate and monitor FSA Client Money Calculations for FNZ (SA)) and its clientsManage and maintain the open items for each client to ensure that control accounts are cleared down dailyMonitor and complete payroll with regards to drawdown payments on clients that we own this process forProvide support and advice with regards to more complex issues

What we are looking for

Degree educated in a relevant subjectExperience of delivering an excellent level of service to customers - e.g., in a retail or contact centre environmentExperience in using Excel for data analysisThe ability to work accurately and to deadlinesExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsKnowledge of banking and Financial Services (desirable)Able to demonstrate understanding of FCA regulations (desirable)ReconciliationsKnowledge of Microsoft PackagesStrong Intermediate Excel skillsStrong knowledge of Unit Trust/LISP environment.Minimum 2 years in a similar role.
