Cash Collections Team Lead
**Job Description:** Support the Credit and Collection Department Associates and Management within a Lead Role capacity by performing the following duties and Account Management responsibilities on the assigned Collection Portfolio. **Job Requirements:** **Essential Duties and Responsibilities:** + Perform all Account Management tasks on assigned Collection Portfolio + Reconcile all discrepancies and disputes on assigned accounts + Create and maintain database on all collection activity conducted + Apply customer account payments and create chargeback/debit memo transactions as necessary + Research and resolve customer inquiries and concerns, + Assist Management with Department Month-End close and Financial Reporting + Perform various Department tasks and projects upon Management request + Work closely with Supervisor in support of Department Goals + Assist and support Credit and Collections Team in fielding questions and tasks + Train and Mentor new Department Associates across various OpCo’s + Balance the Lead role with individual Collector goals and responsibilities **Qualifications** **Education and/or Experience:** Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or four years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. **Skills:** + This individual must have strong written and verbal communication skills. Must possess excellent analytical and critical thinking skills. + To perform this job successfully, an individual must have moderate skills in Excel, Word, and Outlook. Oracle and SAP experience is preferred. + Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management, customers and other staff members. Fluency in Spanish or French is a plus. + The individual should be a self starter that takes initiative, has the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, be detail oriented and maintain a high level of accuracy and efficiency. **Physical Demands/Work Environment:** The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
