Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Cash Application Specialist in the retail industry. The position is based in SAINT LOUIS, Missouri. The role involves processing data related to customer applications, managing accounts receivable, cash applications, and other related tasks in a hybrid workplace environment. Responsibilities: • Efficiently manage cash receipts from online customer orders. • Investigate and rectify discrepancies between payment files and accounts receivable records. • Maintain organized and precise financial records. • Collaborate closely with the finance team to ensure effective cash application. • Utilize Microsoft Excel and D365 for various tasks and processes. • Post payments to the appropriate accounts in a timely manner. • Monitor customer accounts and take necessary action when required. Requirements • Proven experience in a similar role within the retail industry is required. • Proficiency in data processing is essential for this role. • Demonstrable knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR) is a must. • Expertise in Cash Applications is necessary. • The candidate should have experience in Cash Posting. • Familiarity with Posting Payments is required. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is needed for this role. • Experience with D365 software is a significant advantage for this position.
