Case Picker

The Case Picker is responsible for filling customer orders and delivering them to the delivery platform in a manner that meets company standards for safety, security, and productivity. The Case Picker is responsible for the completeness and correctness of all orders filled.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESParticipates in a culture where Health & Safety is the #1 priority and complies with all regulatory and company safety requirements. Efficiently pick outgoing customer orders for shipment, ensuring that the correct number and type of product is loaded and shipped.As needed, assemble various types of loads for shipment. Carry or transport orders to shipping locations or delivery platforms with material handling equipment.Repack and weigh any orders that require such handling when necessary. Report quality variances.Assist in conducting physical inventories as required.Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly facility.Follows procedures to ensure the accurate, efficient and safe operation of all equipment (i.e. manual and electric pallet jacks).Comply with all regulatory requirements.Report all building failures, including racking, lighting, floors, etc.Maintain the integrity of products by ensuring it is stored at appropriate temperatures and report any variances.Clean and brush dock and warehouse floors as per quality standards.Chip ice where required and maintain clear aisles.Perform other duties as required.KEY REQUIREMENTSExperience is not essential, but related work experience would be an asset. Training provided.Capable of standing and walking for extended periods of time.Ability to take direction, learns quickly, communicate effectively and work with a team.Ability to read and count accurately, do simple math and write legiblyExperience using RF Scanners and warehouse management system would be an asset.Ability to work in cold temperatures for extended periods of timeCapable of lifting up to 65 lbs.Commitment to health and safety in the workplace.Driven to provide exceptional customer service.Strong interpersonal skills including conflict resolution and team building abilities.Demonstrates a positive and professional attitude.Takes initiative, is proactive in their work, and results-oriented.Ability to manage and adapt to change.Exhibits sound judgment and is able to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
