Who is the Carrier Governance Team?

The Carrier Governance Team assesses and manages the internal Carrier/Broker components to mitigate risk by ensuring the validity and accuracy of the information we receive and maintain available for Hub.

About the position:

The Carrier Governance Team Analyst provides an in-depth analysis and insight into the success and opportunities of the department. This ideal candidate will be experienced in Insurance Accounting, have a comprehensive understand of carrier regulatory compliance, and possess the ability to analyze, interpret, and report utilizing applicable data.

Carrier Governance Team Analyst Responsibilities:

Preparing reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing informationComplete periodic audits to verify complianceCreate and maintain recurring reports and analyticsAdvise management on the design and implementation of control activities that reduce risk and add valueAnalyzing and updating existing carrier requests and related documentationAccurately and timely complete other assigned tasks and projects

Carrier Governance Team Analyst Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years’ experience in accounting, banking, and finance fieldsProfessional certification or BA in Business, Accounting, or related area is preferredA well-established understanding of accounting, financial concepts, and controls Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlinesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsSuperior communication skills; verbal, written, and presentation Experience in providing exceptional service and resolutionsIntermediate Excel skills and knowledgeInsurance Accounting/Servicing background is preferred
