Carlin - Open Pit Maintenance Planner III

Position Description:

Our people division is growing, and we are looking for a Surface Open Pit Mobile Maintenance III at our Carlin operations. As part of the Maintenance team, the successful candidate will improve maintenance efficiency using planned, predictive, and maintenance techniques and systems.

Responsibilities:

Develop weekly work packages for preventative, shutdown, backlog, and ad-hoc maintenance work. Address planning issues by priority 1) Equipment deficiencies, 2) Inadequate work procedures, 3) Accurate equipment history Record work history data and asset strategies into CMMS (SAP) Manage backlog and predictive maintenance work  Confirm that planned work is in accordance with monthly, quarterly, annual forecast Develop operational readiness plans, Communicate to both operations and maintenance personnel Assist the general supervisors and shift supervisors with job priority and availability, including changes in the preventative maintenance schedule necessitated by production/maintenance requirements Plan, track, and expedite parts and materials for upcoming planned work Establish and improve processes related to long-term planning practices, including maintain SAP data such as task lists, PRT’s and BOM’s, establish material number’s Manage and audit SAP to ensure accurate and accessible data, ensure alignment with Xeras forecasting model Mentor planners in use of SAP, maintenance strategies, overall planning processes Provide monthly financial information such as accruals / reclass entries needed

Qualifications:

Two (2) year maintenance planning experience in mining environment preferred Proficient in Microsoft Office / Excel and SAP required Validated safe work record required Ability to work in a team-based maintenance organization required Ability to perform the essential functions of this position required
