Cargo Handler
**Job Title: Cargo Handler** **Job Description** As a cargo handler for a global air cargo logistics leader, you will play a crucial role in handling and distributing cargo. This position involves working in a team-oriented environment, where you will be responsible for repacking cargo containers for distribution and loading onto planes. The ideal candidate will be able to stand on their feet all day and lift up to 75 pounds. **Responsibilities** + Repack cargo containers for distribution and loading onto planes. + Work collaboratively in a team environment. + Stand on feet throughout the entire shift. + Lift boxes and materials weighing up to 75 pounds. + Assemble and break down boxes. + Move materials and inventory within the warehouse. + Operate forklifts, pick, sort, pack, and package items. + Utilize RF scanners for inventory management. **Essential Skills** + Ability to speak, read, and write English. + Ability to lift 30-70 lbs. + Able to work in indoor and outdoor environments under various weather conditions. + High school diploma or equivalent. + Ability to handle a fast-paced environment. + Ability to pass TSA compliance **Shifts** + Will have 2 days off back to back + 3:30 pm - 12 am, 6:30 pm - 3 am, or 12 am - 8:30 am (have to be flexible to work any off those shifts) **Work Environment** The warehouse is located at the airport and operates 24 hours a day. Shifts range from early mornings to late evenings and may include weekends and holidays. Flexibility is required as shift times can change every few months based on the plane schedule, usually by a maximum of 2 hours. Steel-toed boots are mandatory. Overtime is available and may be required based on business demands. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
