Wind Crest is a beautiful 84-acre continuing care retirement community located in Highlands Ranch, just 15 minutes southwest of Denver, Colorado.  We’re part of a growing network of communities developed and managed by Erickson Senior Living, a national provider of senior living and health care with campuses in 11 states—and growing. 

The Personal Care Worker is an active member of the clinical team who is committed to providing residents with assistance and care in all aspects of their daily life and to the overall functioning of the community. 

Compensation: $19.50-$24.50/hour (depending on experience)

Hours: 12 Hour Shifts / 36 Hours a Week

How you will make an impact:

Provides physical assistance with activities of daily livingPromotes psychosocial well-being through meaningful relationshipsPlans and facilitates social activities for the neighborhood residents.Assists with menu/snack selection and partners with the Service Associate in serving to ensure adequate nutritional intake of all residents. Provides in-room dining experiences where requestedAssures the resident’s room and neighborhood are kept tidy to minimize environmental hazards which may impact environmental safety.

What you will need:

High School diploma or GED required.Current CPR certification is preferred (CPR certification required within 90 days of hire) 1 year of Personal Care Worker / Caregiving experience is preferred but not requiredComplete a Safe Food Handling and Preparation Class (within 30 days of hire)Current certification in medication administration per State-specific regulations, where applicable.
