Responsibilities Document the care provided and report any changes in the resident's condition.Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.Perform welfare checks on residents.Document and report care provided and resident observations.Provide physical assistance, laundry & bedding assistance, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper lifting techniques.Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward residents, visitors, families, and co-workers.Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. The employee may be required to undertake additional related duties as directed by their supervisor.
Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required.Applicants are required to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.Coachable and the willingness and ability to learn. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.Ability to handle challenging behaviors with patience and empathy.The ability to deliver compassionate care to elderly patients.Certificates required:
Certification as an Arizona Caregiver is required.CPR and First Aid certifications are required. A valid Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card is required. A current negative TB test is required. If necessary, we can administer the test free of charge.Schedule: Currently needing PRN coverage.
