We are uniting SSA Career Services and Alumni Relations to create a seamless, high-impact function that supports employees in their post-BCG careers and maintains strong connections as they transition to alumni and potential clients. This reimagined organization will launch in early 2025, and you will play a pivotal role in its success.

 

As the Career Services & Alumni Senior Coordinator, you’ll contribute to the design and scoping of this new function and oversee its implementation. Success in this role requires exceptional communication and collaboration skills to navigate change management and deliver impact.

 

You’ll ensure high service levels in executive career advisory, career coaching, and alumni engagement, positioning the function—and BCG—for long-term success.

 

Career Services Overview

 

This role supports BCG employees, alumni, and key clients by providing internal career coaching and strategic placement services.

 

Key initiatives include:

 

Career Coaching & Job Search Support:

Collaborate with current and departing BCGers, offering career guidance, strategic job search advice, and practical, skill-based support (e.g., resume reviews, mock interviews, offer negotiations).

 

Strategic placement design and implementation:

Build relationships with key clients/employers and alumni to develop job opportunities pipeline across industries and geographies. Build talent pipelines for priority clients and alumni.

 

Alumni Career Support:

Offer lifelong career support for BCG alumni, including career programming, webinars, and resources for navigating transitions.

 

Business Insights:

Provide valuable insights to the SSA People Team and Leadership through data on employee retention, external talent markets, compensation benchmarks, and key trends.

 

Alumni Relationships Overview

The Alumni Relations function fosters strong, lifelong relationships with BCG alumni while unlocking commercial value through strategic engagement. Key initiatives include:

 

Alumni Engagement:

Build enduring connections within the BCG network, driving brand advocacy and commercial opportunities through strategic alumni relationships.

 

Program Execution:

Deliver alumni programs at local, system, and regional levels for consistent, impactful experiences. Lead senior alumni initiatives in key markets, piloting new ideas and engaging stakeholders.

Design and Coordinate Alumni signature events in all 4 geographies of SSA

 

Innovation and Best Practices:

Develop innovative approaches to enhance alumni engagement. Implement scalable technology solutions and use data-driven insights to measure KPIs and drive program improvements.

 

Additional responsibilities

Additionally, to those Career Services and Alumni responsibilities, the Senior Coordinator will be responsible for other Employee Value Proposition initiatives, in link with Diversity, Sustainability or other regional projects



What You'll Bring

A minimum of 5 years of progressive work experience, preferably in a professional services firmUndergraduate degree required; MBA or other advanced professional degree preferredConsulting experience strongly preferredA coaching certification would be considered as a plusFluency in Spanish and English (oral and written)

Who You'll Work With

You will closely collaborate with the SSA People Director and the leaders of the Bogotá, Buenos Aires, Santiago, and Lima offices.
