Your opportunity

Ensure consistent and accurate payroll reporting and funding across all countries in which the organization operates through on-hands management of internal team and external providers. Ensure proper reporting for multiple compensation and benefit arrangements, including equity based compensation awards. Manage integration of payroll systems changes and processes. Lead and manage a team of payroll professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance. Support global mobility payroll reporting. Onboard and transition payroll responsibilities for mergers and acquisitions. Stay updated with payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements. Ensure payroll reporting and payments are compliant with local laws and regulations in each country. Responsible for SOX controls relating to payroll. Support global mobility payroll reporting. Ensure all applicable payroll related tax filings are timely filed Coordinate with HR and finance departments to mitigate risks related to payroll compliance and fundings. Continuously assess and improve payroll processes to increase efficiency, accuracy, and security. Implement best practices in payroll processing and technology. Coordinate and communicate with internal and external teams to ensure accurate payroll Identify and initiate payroll savings strategies and efficiencies. Carry out other duties as assigned

Must have skills

Extensive experience in payroll, with a significant portion managing or overseeing global payroll operations. Proven leadership and team management skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in payroll software and systems, as well as SAP. Proficiency in excel including v-lookups, pivot tables Multi-state and multi-country payroll experience. Creative and commercial approach to dealing with payroll issues.  Thorough understanding of accounting processes related to payroll. Experience in integrating new payroll systems and systems knowledge Excellent verbal and written communications skills

 

Nice to have skills

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or related field. CPA and/or payroll certifications

Compensation information 

The base salary range for this position is $175,000 - $185,000. This range is estimated for this role. Actual pay may be different. The posting for this role will be available until December 31, 2024. 

 

Annual Bonus Opportunity:  Position is eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus award from the profit pool.  The profit pool is funded based on Company profits.  Individual bonuses are determined based on Company, department, team and individual performance.
