Job Summary

Leads and coordinates activities of teammates engaged in the production of Surgical Totes. Ensure the smooth flow of operations to include filling customer pack orders and getting them ready for shipment in a manner that meets company standards for safety, security and productivity.

Core Responsibilities

Serve as a back-up to a Supervisor of the CARE Room.

Responsible for supervising production workers, and warehouse workers (where applicable) to ensure all production functions are completed in a timely and accurate manner.

Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists teammates in solving work problems.

Establishes work areas and rotations to optimize the workflow of the CARE Room.

Enforces company policies and safety regulations.

Enforce quality regulations and processes.

Must possess the general ability to use Windows-based programs and the routine ability to retrieve, update and utilize available reports related to essential job activities.

Possesses a working knowledge of all production positions within the facility, train new hires when needed.

Verification of and adherence to accomplishing daily/weekly production goals with the Team.

Assists in preparing operational schedules and coordinating manufacturing activities to ensure production and quality of products meets specifications.

Confer with Supervisor to coordinate activities in Receiving, Picking, Replenishment, Assembly and Shipping.

Oversee daily floor operations to ensure compliance with standards.

Orders and tracks shortages for production.

Place Work orders, Purchase Orders, arrange Transportation for shipments

Perform additional duties as directed.

Qualifying Experience

High school diploma or equivalent.  Four-year college degree preferred.

Experience in Manufacturing/Assembly Operations.

Proficient with Microsoft applications a must, Excel, Teams, Word, etc
