Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Cardiologist to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health. The hospital maintains accreditation by the New York State Cardiac Diagnostic Center with a diagnostic catheterization and a cardiac non-invasive lab. The Critical Care Unit and Coronary Recovery Unit are staffed with full-time cardiologists and cardiology fellows. The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University and NYIT College Of Osteopathic Medicine.

Responsibilities 100% outpatient Cardiology with Cardiology fellow, medical residents, and Physician Assistant for supportOpportunity to build a cardiology practice with a diverse patient population in a large, busy community-based settingOpportunity to be involved in PI and QA initiativeson-site lab and imaging services providedExcellent primary care referral base with an established patient panel on day oneSupport staff: Medical assistants and techs (nuclear, lab, echo, radiology)Teaching and administrative responsibilities relevant to the roleOn-call/additional sessional responsibilities for in-patient consults and reading EKG/ECHO are optional and considered Per-Diem and not a primary part of this ambulatory cardiologist roleSchedule: Monday to Friday 8-4 PM - no weekend calls  Qualifications Current NYS license (or the ability to obtain one)Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Cardiology
