Car Wash Operations Maintenance Technician

Golden Nozzle Car Wash began in the 1970’s as a complement to a group of gas stations operating in Western Massachusetts. The name ‘Golden Nozzle’ derived from the color of the gas pump handles at the fueling stations. Since becoming part of the Nouria family in 2016, the chain has grown and expanded from seventeen (17) original locations to fifty (50) and counting! Golden Nozzle Car Wash continues to open and rebrand existing car wash facilities in five New England states.

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to service Car Washes located throughout New England. The ideal candidate will have familiarity with Hydraulics/Plumbing, Pneumatics and beginner electrical.

Typical equipment to be maintained includes car wash equipment, HVAC systems, air compressors, tire inflation units, commercial car vacuum cleaners, interior and exterior lighting.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Candidates must be able to independently carry out the duties and responsibilities listed below at a satisfactory level.

Manage, prioritize and complete multiple service calls. Calls are dispatched by the GN Maintenance Manager who will assist with call prioritization and ordering of maintenance supplies.Perform general repair and maintenance in a safe and efficient mannerMaintain a high level of professionalism at all timesFlexibility to respond to urgent maintenance calls during non-business hoursPossess a valid driver’s license with good driving record. A company work truck will be provided.Available 7 days a week (rotating, on-call schedule every 3 weeks)Must supply own hand tools

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

High School diploma requiredExperience in construction trades or facility management position

JOB RELATED SKILLS

Time management skills with ability to manage several tasks simultaneously.Strong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to use email and internet dispatching applications currently utilized by Nouria EnergyFamiliarity with: Hydraulics/Plumbing, pneumatics and beginner electrical

Compensation will be based upon individuals experience level and ability.
