Position Overview :

 

We are seeking a highly skilled Car Leader, responsible for the process and methods definition and preparation for the new projects, who will also be contributing to the plant objectives achievement in term of security, quality, Delivery and CI.

 

Key Skills :

 

Car leader is the point of contact and Lear wiring plant representative for the Lead Unit Engineering Project Leader and Program Manager. Coordinate with all plant departments and related functions during a program launch or engineering change implementation. Program management at Lear wiring plant level. Generate the proper technical documentation at plant level and to LU: Work instructions, … Ensure the proper usage of resources and plant installations for a flawless execution in terms of quality, cost and delivery of the program launch or engineering change maintenance. Responsible to ensure that communication is effective for technical issues with the Lead Unit, and for commercial and program management issues with program manager. Calculation of the needed investments to get the necessary tooling and equipment. Get customer and corporate approval of calculated investments (PO from customer and PAR from Lear). Responsible of ordering, reception and installation of tooling and equipment already defined. Follow-up of production and quality performances (efficiency, IPPM), till predefined objectives are achieved. Pilot of the weekly meeting of the project (QTS: Quote tracking system). Preparation of APQP/PPAP audits and evaluations held by the Customer. Conduct the Run @ Rate and the Capacity verification according to the program milestones. Control and follow up of PPAP status of all products in charge.

Support customer claims analysis and follow up of the related action plans.

Support of CI activities by calculation and implementation of new ideas.

Comply with the internal system inside engineering department and support all internal and external audits: IATF, …

Comply with HSE policy and objectives.

 

 

To be successful for this role:

 

High engineering school degree, Minimum Bac+5

5 years min experience in the automotive industry.

Leadership & teamwork spirit.

English and French mandatory.

Ability to work with cross functional teams.

High knowledge of problem-solving tools.

Microsoft office skills (Excel, PPT, …).
