As a Capital Reporting professional in our Corporate & Investment Banking, you will spend each day defining, refining and delivering set goals for our firm

Job Responsibilities:

Co-ordinate and manage the delivery of the ICAAP, including systems and reports for key UK legal entities. Co-ordinate and own the capital forecasts, stress testing assessments and where applicable, internal Pillar 2 assessments of risks. Co-ordinate and manage the delivery of the Risk appetite framework and reports for key UK legal entities.Submission of external returns like PRA111, PRA102 to the regulators. Critically review risk model methodologies, stress testing framework, policy and procedures to ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.  Review and challenge business decisions, growth plans from a capital perspective on an on-going basis.  Analyse new business initiatives, regulatory impact from revisions to the capital requirement framework, regulatory reforms and permissions    Work with associates and analysts to analyse, manipulate and present data, focusing on material outcomes and produce coherent outputs for senior management and committees. Liaising with senior SMEs and presenting to senior management and committees. Ability to manage and take responsibility for own work, producing reliable, high-quality outputs to an agreed timeline. Good task management skills and ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines. Managing key stakeholder relationships across different functions ensuring all ICAAP inputs are clearly communicated with timelines and addressing any queries quickly. Ability to communicate clearly, with the written and oral presentation skills to deliver clear messages for a senior audience and external parties. Attention to detail. Collaborative approach to work and coordinate within ECMS and other teams in Finance, Risk, Treasury and the business lines.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

Chartered Accountant / MBA  with 5+ years’ experience with financial services industry, with Capital forecasting and ICAAP/ICARA experience  Knowledge of the investment banking industry, products and business lines. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including an ability to prepare executive level presentations.  Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure, with an ability to be flexible in a dynamic and challenging environment. Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills required Strong communication skills to lead the forums confidently with senior stakeholders from Risk, Finance and Treasury. Good experience in setting up and running successful governance forums. Teamwork skills - Candidate must be flexible in work style and have the ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals. Inclined to work on technology /automation efforts in the team

 

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

Any experience in EU / PRA regulatory reporting involving Basel/CRR regulations or Pillar 2 / ICAAP framework will be beneficial but not essential.
