The Global Supply Management (GSM) Function is recognized as a critical function for business success. It delivers the training, tools and opportunities needed to create innovative solutions for the function & the corporation. **Location:** Corning, NY or Charlotte, NC
**Key Requirements:**
+ **Experience:** Minimum of 5 years in Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management for projects over $10M.
+ **Skills:**
+ Excellent project management capabilities.
+ Strong understanding of engineering and construction contracts.
+ Project estimating skills.
+ Scope development, bid tendering, and award.
+ Project scheduling and cost control.
+ Supplier negotiation skills.
+ **Background:** Engineering or Technical background.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Support facility capital construction projects.
+ Work closely with Engineering to provide instruction to project teams and managers.
+ Develop project scopes, estimates, and schedules.
+ Manage bid tendering and award processes.
+ Control project costs and schedules.
+ Negotiate with suppliers.
+ Manage a capital project portfolio, including Expansion of Business (EOB), Maintenance of Business (MOB), and Development projects.
**Job Requirements:**
+ **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in engineering, technology, or supply chain.
+ **Experience:** Minimum of 5 years in capital sourcing and contract administration.
+ **Skills:**
+ Project Procurement Management, including planning and strategy development.
+ Experience developing Strategic Sourcing Plans for large capital-intensive projects.
+ Experience with developing Work Breakdown Structures.
+ Bid & Tender Process: Developing RFPs and RFQs for capital equipment, services, and facilities.
+ Leading Pre-bid and Post Award reviews and Decision Analysis.
+ Contracts & Contract Administration: Knowledge of various contract types (firm fixed price, lump sum, GMP, turnkey, etc.).
+ Extensive experience in Contract Management, including planning, tendering, statements of work, project plans, scope, risk, procurement, quality, schedule, cost, and safety management.
+ Leadership, Teamwork, Communication & Ethics: Leading Capital Projects and Program Teams, understanding business objectives, and fostering open communication and cooperation.
+ Technical Knowledge: Understanding different Statements of Work and Supplier Cost Structures, and the ability to analyze and interpret supplier costs.
**Certifications:**
+ CPSM or C.P.M. Certification (a plus)
+ PMP Certification (a plus)
**Travel:**
+ International and Domestic travel (20%)

The range for this position is $96,534.00 - $132,734.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
