Capability Development Lead - Brno Solution Centre 

 

This role is responsible for overall employee experience and performance by assessing capabilities and developing plans to meet organizational goals. 

 

For new joiners: 

Manage the onboarding process for the first 3-6 months to ensure consistency and support. 

Build a strong knowledge base and manage resource allocation based on business priorities. 

 

For current staff: 

Address training and development needs are met to meet the priorities of the organization. 

Support employees to develop their careers at FNZ. 

Improve the overall capability, within the solution centre, so employees can advance within their chosen career pathway. 

Specific Role Responsibilities 

Onboarding Leadership: 

Oversee the operational aspects of onboarding for all new joiners, collaborating with HR and IT to coordinate access, start dates, background checks, and completion of required paperwork. 

Assign buddies and ensure each new joiner is allocated a workspace, promoting a welcoming and supportive environment. 

Design and implement tailored induction and onboarding plans, ensuring alignment with individual and team needs. 

Provide direct leadership for new joiners at the Brno Solution Centre (graduate and analyst levels) for their initial 3-6 months, ensuring a smooth transition before they move to their permanent reporting line manager. 

Conduct regular check-ins with new joiners to monitor their progress, address challenges, and foster engagement during their onboarding period. 

Work closely with project leads to ensure that all new joiners have integrated well into projects, actively seek feedback and resolve any issues that arise.  

 

Capability and Skills Development: 

Maintain and update the skills framework for the Solution Centre, conducting routine skill and competency assessments to align with organizational goals. 

Recommend and facilitate access to learning modules and training resources to enhance the technical and professional skills of team members. 

Provide career path guidance and mentorship to new joiners and existing employees, supporting their long-term professional development and career growth. 

Work closely with Heads of Delivery, for each region, to develop an understanding of future capability requirements and ensure that the workforce is suitably skilled to meet demand.  

 

Process and Policy Contribution: 

Contribute to business readiness planning, considering processes, capabilities, and organizational activities required to deliver new service propositions effectively. 

Support the development and implementation of people management policies, standards, and guidelines within the Solution Centre. 

Collaborate on projects or tasks that contribute to the seamless operation and success of the Solution Centre. 

 

Resourcing Coordination: 

Identify development needs vis-à-vis current employees’ allocated project and work closely with the FNZ Academy to create actionable plans to build capabilities within the project team and to ensure alignment with business objectives. 

Experience/Attributes required 

A degree in Commerce, Business Administration, IT, or a related field is preferred. 

Interest in or familiarity with financial markets and products is advantageous. 

Proven experience in delivering exceptional client service. 

Demonstrated leadership skills to enhance team performance. 

Strong stakeholder management abilities with a track record of building and maintaining relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders. 

Exceptional analytical thinking and attention to detail. 

Highly logical with strong problem-solving skills. 

Independent, self-directed, and focused on delivery. 

Excellent communication skills, confident in interacting with internal and external clients. 

Proactive in taking initiative and leading change to improve effectiveness. 

Ability to prioritize and execute tasks effectively in high-pressure environments. 

Outstanding organizational, administrative, and time management skills. 

Willingness to work long hours, especially around project deadlines, with appropriate rewards.
