The Campaign Manager will support the DFO Deputy Director and Director in the execution of the university s strategic fundraising plans by leading and managing all support and operations services of the unit, at a high level of service quality. This includes providing oversight of development plans to engage and expand the donor base, to increase the donor/sponsorship income of the university, through different fundraising campaigns. This also extends to internal stakeholder management of all fundraising, and related marketing and public relations communication activities and processes.
A key aspect of the position will be the development of professional proposals, fundraising and promotional collateral across multiple media and formats for key strategic university projects aimed at key prospects.
Brief DescriptionKey Responsibilities:
Working closely with the Director and Deputy Director to initiate, deliver, evaluate and report on clusters of related strategic fundraising initiatives, including the Centenary Campaign, and subsequent campaigns. Working closely with the Deputy Director, to manage fundraising operations support. Effective management of all University relationships leading up to and following on from a fundraising initiative; all marketing and public relations activities in the Development and Fundraising Office; all fundraising intelligence services, and knowledge management practices.
Requirements:
A relevant postgraduate qualification in relevant fields, such as fundraising, sales, promotions, business development and/or corporate communications 3 - 5 Years of working experience at a middle manager level. Proven success and substantial experience in fundraising management, advancement management or sales management. Experience in operations management, business management, digital business management or project management. High level of written and verbal communication skills in English including proposal writing, report writing, business writing and/or developing marketing and promotional materials (including newsletters and brochures).
Preferences:
Work experience in a Higher Education Environment.
