CAMPS OPERATION ASSOCIATE
HFH Summer Camps is seeking a Camps Operations Associate. This individual will be responsible for all aspects of camper recruitment & administrative requirements when it comes to campers & families. This candidate will also be responsible for HFH Summer Camps transportation operations, coordination of chaperones, and develop positive relationships with facilities staff when it comes to camper recruitment. The Camp Operations Associate will also coordinate and support with grant applications and American Camp Association (ACA) compliance. Additionally, this role will be responsible for developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations. Your work will directly impact the safety and well-being of our campers and the camp community.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages all aspects of camper registration, onboarding, camper files, vaccines, promotion, and outreach to families. Responsible for the management of our online camper registration software system. Manages and coordinates all of camps transportation operations, including the coordination and communication with chaperones.Responsible for communication with families, camp liaisons, and community staff. Support all aspects of grant, SFSP, and ACA compliance. Responsible for the implementation of policies, procedures, and regulations. During the off season candidate will work from the Central office on camp administrative items and during the Camp season be present at our recruitment facilities, our central office, and camps.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must demonstrate leadership and organizational abilities. Required to have strong administrative skills. Preferred previous camp experience in a residential or day camp environment a plus! Pass State Central Register Database Check (LDSS-3370) and background check. Relevant bachelor’s degree (education, social work, youth development, physical education, etc.) preferred.
