Hire Resolve, on behalf of their client, a leading Financial Wellness Technology company in the Financial Services industry, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Call Centre Sales Manager. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing prospecting and existing clients within South Africa, reporting directly to the Head of Operations. This role requires a motivated and sales-oriented individual who will handle inbound customer inquiries and effectively filter them to the appropriate channels. Please note that this position involves outbound calls, but no cold calling.
Responsibilities
Consistently meet all group targets for every measurement period. Effectively manage and maintain leads to ensure required conversion rates. Ensure compliance with all Group Policies and Procedures. Keep the team motivated and committed to achieving set goals. Provide continuous feedback to senior management. Offer ongoing guidance to sales consultants. Promote and maintain good working relationships with colleagues and other departments. Act as a role model for staff by demonstrating effective sales practices and results-driven behavior. Monitor staff activity levels and productivity regularly. Generate daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports. Handle staff-related issues, including performance management and disciplinary procedures. Investigate and implement initiatives to enhance department performance and sales generation. Proven track record of leadership skills. Matric certificate. Experience with outbound follow-ups and inbound lead handling. Minimum of 5–8 years’ sales call centre experience within the financial industry, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial role. Strong understanding of competitor offers within the industry. Ability to develop and grow long-term customer relationships. Willingness to mentor salespeople and help them enhance their industry knowledge. Extremely deadline-driven and target-oriented. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Proficient in using computers. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects. Team-oriented, with the ability to build consensus within diverse groups. Achievement-oriented and thrives under pressure.Benefits
