The RoleThe Cage Shift Manager ensures compliance with regulatory Policies & Procedures in order to safeguard the Company’s assets. Assists the Cage Manager in management situations. Assists the Cage Manager with management situations and promotes superior customer service. Responsibilities Supervise Cage personnel in all areas. Conduct training of Policies and Procedures as well as basic machinery, i.e. currency counters, adding machines, and computers. Handle employee and customer related problems with composure and professionalism at all times. Assists Cage Manager with the daily operation including training, counseling and supervision of personnel. Maintain adequate staffing levels in the Cage department through scheduling and by monitoring customer volume. Review departmental reports addressing potential conflicts and/or misinformation. Ensure a maximum level of companywide service and satisfaction is achieved and maintained at all times. Held accountable for the accuracy and thoroughness of departmental records and reports. Bring employee concerns and/or problems and unusual activities to the attention of the Cage Manager Perform other duties as assigned. Physical/Mental Requirements Frequently walking and standing. Constant mental alertness to work in fast-paced environment. Working Conditions Exposed to smoke, bright lights and noise. Operations of various machines. Qualifications Must have three years of Supervisory and coin/currency handling experience. Must have decision-making capabilities and experience in directing others. Must be extremely numbers oriented and have typing and adding machine skills. Must be computer literate. Must be able to communicate with the public in a clear friendly manner. Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours. License Requirements

Must be able to obtain a license by R.I. Department of Business Regulation
