We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic individual to join our team as a Cafeteria Attendant. This role requires a versatile individual capable of managing both food preparation and customer transactions, ensuring excellent service and a positive dining experience for our customers. Key Responsibilities:

As a Cook:

Prepare and cook food items according to menu specifications, ensuring quality, consistency, and presentation.Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to all safety and sanitation guidelines.Monitor food inventory and ensure supplies are stocked and stored properly.Follow proper food safety procedures, including checking food temperatures and ensuring proper handling of all ingredients.

As a Cashier:

Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately.Operate the cash register, process payments, and provide change as necessary.Answer customer inquiries about menu items, ingredients, and prices.Handle customer concerns or complaints in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements:

Food Handler Certification: Must have a valid California Food Handler Card and be compliant with all local food safety regulations.Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.Strong communication skills and a positive attitude towards customer service.Knowledge of basic kitchen equipment and the ability to operate them safely.Must be able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 lbs, and work in a hot and fast-paced environment.
