The CADD Operator/Drafter performs routine and more complex CADD assignments for the preparation of engineering drawings using AutoDesk and Bentley products. CADD assignments originate from Erlanger and Lexington, Kentucky, and Cincinnati, Dayton, and Columbus, Ohio Branch Offices.Job Responsibilities:Performs routine and complex drafting assignments, not limited to: Maps and Site PlansGeophysical Data PresentationShoring/Retaining Wall Design DrawingsProfiles, Cross Sections, Schematics, and Process DiagramsPrepares GPS for locating and staking boring/test pit locations and performs post-processing of accumulated GPS data.Follow all safety rules, guidelines, and standards including active participation in pre-task planning and reporting of safety issues or concerns to management
In addition:Maintains library of past drawingsMaintains library of reference drawingsPerforms other duties as requested, including but not limited to, assisting with field data collection; locating and staking boring/test pit locations; perform sampling and testing on construction materials; and observing and documenting field activities.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent requiredKnowledge of Auto CAD and Microsoft Office products requiredExperience with Microstation and Open Roads Designer (ORD) requiredKnowledge for surveying-Township & Range, GPS Coordinate System, and Northern Eastern Coordinates System, preferredWho We Are:   UES provides essential engineering services for some of the most prominent and significant projects in the nation.
