CADD Operator
Responsibilities:Utilize CADD software (e.g., MicroStation, AutoCAD) to prepare detailed engineering drawings, plans, and specifications for transportation infrastructure projects in accordance with project requirements and standards.Work closely with engineers and designers to interpret project specifications, sketches, and notes to develop accurate and complete drawings.Ensure adherence to project schedules and deadlines by efficiently managing workload and prioritizing tasks.Perform quality control checks on drawings to verify accuracy, completeness, and compliance with design standards and specifications.Coordinate with project team members and other stakeholders to exchange information, resolve issues, and ensure project objectives are met.Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including reports, presentations, and meeting materials, as needed.Stay informed of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to CADD and transportation engineering.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in engineering, drafting, or related field preferredMinimum of 7 years] of experience as a CADD Operator in the transportation engineering field, preferably with experience working on SHA projectsProficiency in CADD software, such as MicroStation and/or AutoCAD, with the ability to produce accurate and detailed drawings efficientlyStrong technical aptitude and ability to understand engineering drawings, plans, and specificationsExcellent attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectivelyGood communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholdersKnowledge of SHA design standards and practices preferredCertification as a Certified Engineering Technician (NICET) or similar certification a plus
