CAD Technician
Job Title: CAD TechnicianJob Responsibilities:Maintain project schedules and provide progress reports.Collaborate with engineers and project managers to complete drafting tasks.Engage in the design and drafting of engineering plans.Revise or modify drawings as needed and perform simple calculations with specific instructions.Perform quantity calculations as directed.Use CADD software to prepare detailed engineering drawings from sketches or verbal instructions.Follow standard procedures for layering and drawing.MUST HAVE - Civil 3D Experience!!Work EnvironmentIn-office with occasional field visits, onsite in Urbandale or Cedar Rapids.This can lead to senior level manager role throughout the duration of the project. Entry level can be trained up and earn specific certifications that will translate into senior observer and construction managerAdditional Skills & QualificationsRelevant educational background (preferred).Previous experience with various relevant engineering software such as Civil 3D and OpenRoads (preferred).Experience in civil engineering design (preferred).Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $45.00/hr.
