In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Collaborate with engineering teams during product development and design iterations to ensure high-quality outcomes.
Find opportunities for improvement, recommend solutions, and implement tools or processes to improve efficiency.
Provide training to CAD users, focusing on core application skills and consistency to standards.
Encourage effective communication with CAD users across multiple global sites, promoting collaboration and the sharing of insights.
Work efficiently as part of a team or independently, chipping in both within and outside the business unit.
Engage in daily interactions with global CAD teams to align on goals and work you're doing.
Support activities and projects that give to achieving business unit objectives.
Design and layout sliding stem valves, trim, and actuation components following standard processes.
Develop product renderings, ranging from basic to highly sophisticated, to support internal and external needs.
Assist in designing products in alignment with internal guidelines, standards, and procedures.
Review and verify 3D models and drawings to ensure compliance with the ASME Y14.5 GD&T 2009 standards.
Initiate and assist in completing engineering change requests accurately and efficiently.
Create and maintain part numbers and other engineering documentation within the system.
Prepare materials for project meetings, design reviews, and related collaborative activities.

For This Role, You Will Need:
Proficiency in parametric modeling software, with experience in SolidWorks. Experience with PDM Pro is a plus.
General digital literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
Proficient in using Microsoft Excel formulas for calculations.
Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) symbiology.
Familiarity with manufacturing processes, including supply chain management, manufacturing, and quality control.
Experience in generating and verifying 2D drawings in compliance with ASME Y14.5 practices.
Ability to view and interpret placement and projections as per ASME Y14.5 standards.
Ability to apply all vital dimensions to fully detail.
Proficient in creating, loading, and storing 3D models from 2D sketches and drawings.
Ability to build and store 3D CAD models for individual parts and assemblies.
Use of 3D models to define areas, mass, volumes, center of gravity, and other properties.
Familiarity with digital literacy and technology tools.
General understanding of material properties, particularly metals.
Basic understanding of castings, forgings, and stampings.
Advanced skills in surface modeling and sophisticated blending techniques.
Desired
