CAD Design Engineer
Location: Tanzania - Dar es Salaam
Contract duration: 12 months (extendable)

Role Overview Autodesk CAD Drafting Services: Provide drafting services using Autodesk CAD (Version 2024) to amend marked-up drawings based on approved revision changes from various Field Disciplines Engineers, including Civil, Structural, Architectural, Mechanical, Pipelines, Electrical, Instruments, and others as required. Drawing Revision Management: Manage drawing revisions between the design office for the Field Engineering team, and site contractors as needed. Redline Mark-up Maintenance: Maintain electronic redline mark-ups of drawings following approved Management of Change instructions via Site Technical Change and Technical Change Request documents. As-built Record Management: Manage and ensure the quality of contractor-submitted Master As-built records in the Master document system. Collaboration and Support: Maintain good working relationships with Company and contractor representatives and attend meetings to provide support and discuss queries. Multi-Cultural Environment: Be accustomed to working in a multi-cultural environment and deliver work efficiently to meet Construction priorities. Safety Responsibility: Conduct work in accordance with Client project Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality Systems (HSEQ). Skills & Qualifications Autodesk CAD Proficiency: Proven certified ability in Autodesk CAD 2024, with industrial experience preferred. Drafting Tool Symbology: Ability to adopt drafting tool symbology for clarity of presentation. Drawing Office Experience: Familiar with drawing office culture and the need for timely delivery in line with construction priorities. Teamwork and Communication: Ability to work effectively with a diverse team, including contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders. Education & Experience Qualifications: Diploma or Degree in an Engineering discipline, preferably Civil or Mechanical. Experience: Proven experience with Autodesk CAD 2024 and industrial experience preferred. The next step
